Pirate's Landing Seafood and Steak Restaurant
Address: 161 interstate Way, Elkin, NC 28621
Telephone: (336)3664150   Website

Author: I ate at at this delightful pirate restaurant in March, '07, after discovering it online in my search for pirate-theme restaurants in my area. The outside and inside have been constructed to look like a ship in water, with antique timbers and planking throughout. Not to be missed are the detailed murals of the history of piracy and of the book Treasure Island. The seafood was great in taste and in portion, served quickly by friendly staff. I expected the prices to be similar to those in coastal seafood restaurants, but was pleasantly surprised at the economical meal. If you are in the area of Elkin or on Interstate 77 near exit 85, you must eat here for a memorable time in a great pirate restaurant.

Author: I had the pleasure of eating here for my birthday in July, 2006. The seafood was terrific! The hush puppies with honey butter were probably the best I've ever had. They were good enough to eat as a dessert. We had a seat where we could look over Murrell's Inlet and the fishing fleet, but the most entertaining thing was watching the goats on Goat Island. The deli featured a wide variety of sandwiches, and Montana made Wilcoxson's ice cream.
